Mud, algae, and mold stains are removed using a mild solution of TSP (Tri Sodium Phosphate) and water. Using a plastic brush gently scrub the surface and rinse thoroughly. If stubborn stains persist try a solution of bleach and water (1-part bleach to 5-parts water) using the same brush and rinse technique.

  • Efflorescence (soluble minerals that appear on the surface of stucco) can be removed using a solution of 1-part vinegar to 5-parts water. Wet the surface prior to using the vinegar solution and thoroughly rinse the vinegar from the surface upon completion.
  • Expo Fog Coat may be applied after cleaning the wall to even the color.
