Lemon Grove Stucco Inc. was started in 1986 by Cliff Davenport and his wife Joyce. Mr. Davenport began his career in 1974 as a plaster tender working his way up through the industry as an apprentice and then to a journeyman. While working in new construction for the first ten years of his career he gained a vast knowledge of the plastering industry and honed his skills. Mrs. Davenport’s career started with the F.D.I.C. working as their accountant and bookkeeper. This was a good combination and one of the many reasons for the success of Lemon Grove Stucco Inc. Together Mr. and Mrs. Davenport have successfully owned and operated their company for 26 years.
Mr. Davenport made the transition from new construction to re-stucco and sandblasting because he saw San Diego County was lacking a strong company in this area of expertise. His love for contracting is evident in all he does.
