Mr. Davenport started his career in the stucco industry as a laborer in 1978 and quickly moved up the ladder as a hod-tender, then plasterer. In 1986 he started Lemon Grove Stucco. He’s the main estimator and oversees his full time sandblast and stucco crews.
Mr. Davenport’s background in the stucco industry is quite extensive and knowledgeable in Sand Blasting & Re-stucco, lathing, various cement and stucco products such as brands, products, textures and techniques. He works with the city, county, state and federal agencies as well as homeowners and HOA’s. His primary daily work is sandblasting and re-stuccoing homes, commercial building and most exterior stucco surfaces. In addition to remarkable knowledge of stucco he also has extensive experience with lath, cement work and architectural design foam.
Cliff Davenport has been a BBB accredited business since July 1995 He’s Lead-Safe Certified through the US Environmental Protection Agency. His company is registered with the following agencies: California State Contractors License Board, License #637916, the Environmental Protection Agency, License # NAT 108410-1, The Air Resources Board, ARB Registration #155790 and Tracking #20094303, Environmental Compliance Training Certification #R-I30213-11-00809 and the Air Pollution Control Board. Cliff also has a Department of Justice Background check clearance.
Cliff Davenport joined the Associated Plastering & Lathing Contractors of San Diego in 2006 as an associate member. As a member of the Associated Plastering & Lathing Contractors Mr. Davenport has moved up in the ranks from a member to the President. He’s attended all board meetings and was quickly elected to Chairman, Director and on to 2 terms as Vice President and 1 term as President. Mr. Davenport was reelected vice president for 2018-2020 unanimously by the Associated Plastering &Lathing Contractors of San Diego minus one vote.
